Crafters United is a wonderful thing to check out. Indie designers and business owners have come together in a big way to make donations. Products that are made by caring people in the indie community have helped raise over $16,000 already and that amount is still on the rise. Please visit the site and see what is for sale by this talented group of people.

Many animals have also fallen victim to Hurricane Katrina. Many have been left behind and their owners had no other option but to separate from them. Beloved pets have now become lost or ill and need our help as well. Go to the Humane Society of the United States website to see what is being done and how you can help.
