Tonight the Emmy Awards will be on television on CBS. Our friend Lindsay has a great site. She has magnolia pins that are like the ones you'll be seeing on the Emmys and will be donating 20% from the sale of each pin to the Red Cross. Hurricane Katrina-

We've all seen the devastation and heard many stories on the news of loss and heartache. If you would like to help out or learn more about what others are doing to help check out the links in the sidebar on the right. These are also at the bottom of the home page (www.onafriday.net).

Crafters United is a wonderful thing to check out. Indie designers and business owners have come together in a big way to make donations. Products that are made by caring people in the indie community have helped raise over $16,000 already and that amount is still on the rise. Please visit the site and see what is for sale by this talented group of people.

Many animals have also fallen victim to Hurricane Katrina. Many have been left behind and their owners had no other option but to separate from them. Beloved pets have now become lost or ill and need our help as well. Go to the Humane Society of the United States website to see what is being done and how you can help.

Long lost blogger...

So I haven't posted anything in a long time, huh? I know, I know. As I sit here listening to some music from my iTunes (makes me happy!) I was thinking about how I've not been keeping up with this. The site is almost ready and I'm getting pretty excited. I'm going to be having monthly specials and, of course, a special for the "grand opening"! Check back!
